When gas RV refrigerators,
(Dometic, Norcold and selected others) make
a reasonably loud gurgling sound this normally means the cooling unit has a leak or has lost some or all of
its hydrogen and the water is now boiling. If so, the cooling unit
must be replaced click here
Is there an ammonia smell coming from inside the RV refrigerator? If yes and no
cleaners or disinfectants have been used recently (can smell like ammonia) then
hydrogen and ammonia are leaking from the RV refrigerator cooling unit and chances are it will need
replacing click here

Is there is a yellowish powder or stain on or near the
RV refrigerator cooling
unit, near the burner? If yes
then refrigerant is leaking from the cooling unit
and it will need replacing click here
